Research on LETS

Some funded research projects have placed unrealistic expectations on LETS, ie that it would provide a bridge for the unemployed into work, support for those with mental health problems, transform the "green agenda" and so on.

Groups are frequently contacted by student researchers who have developed extensive questionnairs based on such expectations.

We didn't get any qualifications for the research that has been done jointly with LETS organisers, over the past twenty-five years, but to benefit from our experience, we welcome researchers to work with us to develop the system in reality - we promise you a much more lively experience.
